54 Avenue Woodlands Road Closure Bylaw 2699/RC/24 Second and Third Readings
Last night, Council gave second and third reading and subsequently passed Bylaw 2699/RC/24. The bylaw closes an unused road right-of-way in the Woodlands neighbourhood that Council declared as surplus land during first reading of the bylaw. Administration will work with the three adjacent landowners to submit necessary documentation to Land Titles to complete the land transfer. This decision reduces the Town’s risk and liability while simplifying the parcel configuration in the area.
The bylaw received first reading in October 2024 and was followed by a public hearing in November 2024 with no responses submitted.
