Road Preservation Projects Update – August 13

Microsurfacing in residential areas has been primarily completed. The contractor is currently repairing deficiencies in some areas. The new surfaces will continue to smooth as the road is utilized.

Microsurfacing is a pavement preservation treatment which includes applying asphalt emulsion, aggregate, water and cement powder to the existing roadway surface. This mixture of materials is used to preserve roadways that are currently in “good” condition.
