Snow Removal Update- December 31, 2025

Crews focused on removing the snow from 44th Ave, Oatway Dr and the school zone in High Park.

Due to the current snow conditions, the decision has been made to change the snow removal on Collector roads. Normally, the snow is removed all the way to the curb, however this is a long process. To speed up operations, crews are only going to remove the snow in driving lanes for the remaining collector roads. When they return during residential snow removal, they will remove the snow to the curb on these roads.

On December 30, we shared the crew would take the day off on January 1. Management and the crew have chosen to continue working on January 1, 2026 to stay ahead of the expected snow fall. On Thursday, January 1, the crew will be removing snow from the driving lanes on Westerra Drive, Genesis Drive and hope to proceed into Willow Park.

With the current rain fall, sanding is ongoing and the crew is still aiming to begin residential snow removal on Tuesday, January 6, 2026.
