Snow Removal Update- January 1, 2026

With the snowfall overnight, crews began with plowing Arterial roads before moving on to complete the school zone in High Park. They were also able to remove the snow in the driving lanes on Willow Park collector roads.

They have begun clearing Westerra Drive and plan to finish it on Friday, January 2nd.  They will then move to the collector roads in the Fairways. 

With the change in operations to only remove snow in the driving lanes on collector roads, the crew can clear more roads. They will return to remove the snow to the curb in these areas when residential snow removal begins.

Conditions are very icy due to the rain on December 31, 2025. Public Works offers free salt sand mix outside of the yard on 4505-50. Make sure to bring a container and a scoop.
