Snow Removal Update- January 8, 2026
Crews remain focused on Residential Snow Removal, widening the Collector Roads and Ice Control on the Priority Roads.
The forecast is predicting warmer weather, although wonderful for a walk in the sun, it does not help with snow removal. The crew is pressing on to remove as much snow as they can before it turns to slush and creates even more problems.
Things you can do to help:
Do not shovel snow from your driveway or sidewalks on to roadways
Remove vehicles from the roads by 6 am to keep traffic flowing
Pickup those driveway ramps, the team has collected 10 driveway ramps in the first 3 days of snow removal
Crew 1 completed in the Fairways and Ironwood. On January 9th there is waste collection in Graybriar and South Creek so the Crew will move down to Country Plains Estates.
Crew 2 focused on the Woodlands Neighborhood, on January 9th they will continue in Woodlands and then return Brickyard.
Crew 3 continues to widen collector roads, on January 9th they anticipate being on Westerra Drive.
