Statement from Mayor William Choy on the passing of Parkland County Councillor Allan Hoefsloot

It is with heavy hearts we mourn the passing of Parkland County Division 6 Councillor Allan Hoefsloot.

Councillor Hoefsloot’s leadership, dedication, and tireless efforts in service to our neighbouring County has left a lasting mark on the Tri-Municipal Region. As we reflect on his remarkable life and achievements, let us also remember Councillor Hoefsloot was a dedicated figure in Parkland County's agricultural and industrial scene. He resided with his family on their farm in Tomahawk, where they raised cattle and cultivated hay. His deep passion for agriculture made him a prominent advocate for farmers across the region, ensuring future generations will continue to thrive.
