Summer Sessions Bring the Music to Stony Plain
Summer Sessions are returning for another summer of tunes in Stony Plain. Free weekly concerts will be hosted at Heritage Park from mid-June through to early August.
Each year, the Town of Stony Plain hosts a summer-long concert series featuring a new artist each week with free admission for all guests. Summer Sessions will go live every Wednesday evening beginning June 15 with the final show on August 3. Gates will open at 5:30PM each night and special guests will take the stage at 6:30PM with headliners at 7PM. Refreshments will be available for purchase on-site and guests are also welcome to bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages.
“Summer Sessions play a key role in developing our local tourism economy by bringing incredible Canadian talent to Stony Plain. Each evening sees residents and visitors come together to share in an evening of music, and we are excited to see everyone at Heritage Park this summer!” says Mayor William Choy.
This year’s lineup includes:
- June 15: Brasstactics with Stony Plain Poet Laureate
- June 22: Amie Weymes & The Atta Boys with Bobblehead Joe
- June 29: Josh Sahunta with Todd Wandio
