Town Prepares for the Return of Farmers’ Days Rodeo & Exhibition

Stony Plain’s biggest event of the summer is back! The Town of Stony Plain and the Stony Plain Kinsmen Club will host Farmers’ Days Rodeo & Exhibition from August 20 to 22 at Heritage Park.

Returning this year are fan favourites including the rodeo, Kids Corral, General Store, beer gardens and entertainment, and the Mayor and Council's Pancake Breakfast.

“We’re incredibly excited to be able to host Farmers’ Days this year. It really is the highlight of the year for not only residents, but visitors to Town as well!” says Tevra Graham, Event Coordinator. “We had a lot of fun with the virtual event last year, but I know everyone is looking forward to getting back to the grounds and taking in the weekend of events.”

“Farmers’ Days is at the heart of our community, and we can’t wait to celebrate together in-person this year,” says Mayor William Choy. “I am looking forward to being able to host the Mayor’s Pancake Breakfast and spend the weekend celebrating together as a community. I hope everyone is ready for pancakes!”

Residents and guests are reminded that parking will not be available on site during Farmers’ Days; however, free Park & Ride services will be provided at various locations throughout the community.

More information will be made available in the weeks ahead. Visit stonyplain.com/farmersdays for information and event updates.
