Umbach Storm Pond Construction Update - April 27

Rehabilitation work is scheduled to address slope failure and prevent further erosion on the south side of the Umbach Storm Pond. Construction will begin on May 6 and workers will be on-site to set up the laydown area on the east side of the Umbach Dog Park.

The Umbach Dog Park will remain open during storm pond construction. Traffic in the area is anticipated to be impacted as construction vehicles haul materials to and from the site. Temporary parking for construction workers will be included in the laydown area to limit impacts on dog park parking capacity. Park users are asked to park on the west side of the dog park lot to accommodate construction activity on the east end. All drivers are asked to share the road and respect construction signage in the area.
