The Town of Stony Plain posts public open and equal competitive bidding opportunities on our Bonfire electronic bidding system and also posts opportunity information on the Alberta Purchasing Connection (APC).

Vendors must be registered in Bonfire in order to view open opportunities and submit bids. 

What is APC?

APC is the Alberta Purchasing Connection. This is the website designated by the Province where all government entities must post notice of procurements.

Selection Criteria

We seek out the best value for the community and not simply the lowest price in our competitions. Criteria is outlined in the Request for Proposal (RFP) process.

Why is the process so complicated?

We are required to follow provincial and federal trade agreements and Canadian procurement law.
