Horse and Wagon Mural Tours Return to Stony Plain this Summer
STONY PLAIN, AB: Horse and Wagon Mural Tours are returning to Stony Plain this summer, offering residents and visitors a chance to experience the community’s history, heritage, and public art in a unique way. Hop aboard a horse-drawn wagon and journey through Downtown Stony Plain to discover the stories behind the town’s iconic murals.
Organized in partnership between the Town of Stony Plain and Red Brick Common, the tours provide an opportunity to explore local history through art. Along the route, a local guide will share insights into the people, events, and traditions depicted in 40 murals that make up Stony Plain’s renowned Outdoor Art Gallery.
