The Dementia Connections Project is returning for another year of supporting residents in Stony Plain, Spruce Grove, and Parkland County. The program provides support and community-based programming to people living with dementia and their care partners.

The Canadian Award for Financial Reporting (CanFR) has been awarded to the Town of Stony Plain by Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) for the 2020 Annual Report. The CanFR Program was established to encourage municipal governments throughout Canada to publish high-quality financial reports and to provide peer recognition and technical guidance for officials preparing these reports.

Join the Town of Stony Plain, City of Spruce Grove, Parkland County, and the Parkland Area Volunteer Action Committee (PAVAC) this National Volunteer Week for a celebration of community stewardship. The nationwide campaign will take place from April 24 to April 30.
