WHEREAS. each year, approximately 237 Alberta children will be diagnosed with cancer and approximately 26 of those children will not make it; and.
WHEREAS. over 15,000 people are employed in the Community Disability Services sector in the Province of Alberta; and.
WHEREAS. May 16 is the National Day of Awareness for the Moose Hide Campaign in Canada; and.
WHEREAS. National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous People in Canada and the United States is May 5, 2024; and.
WHEREAS. the Edmonton region is a national leader in clean energy and has the experience, infrastructure, and resources to produce low-cost, low-carbon hydrogen at a global scale; and.
It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of former Canadian Prime Minister, the Right Honourable Brian Mulroney, P. C. , C. C, G. O. Q. As flags across our province and nation are lowered to half-mast in honour of his legacy, the Town of Stony Plain joins in this tribute.
