Presentation Given on Broadband Strategy

The Broadband Strategy has been presented to Council. The aim of this strategy is to develop reasonable broadband service standards, understand the current state of service levels, assets and providers, and address infrastructure gaps in order to lay the foundation for future economic sustainability.

The 2022 Development Activity Report Is In

Administration has presented the 2022 Development Activity Report to Council for information. The report outlines various aspects of development that took place over 2022 including, but not limited to, land development inquiries, subdivisions, and permits.

Administration will continue to review, refine, and expand the topics covered in the annual Development Activity Report to capture changes taking place within the community.

Town Presents the 2022 Environmental Portfolio Progress Update

The 2022 Environmental Portfolio Progress Update has been presented to Council. In 2021, the Town developed its first Environmental Master Plan (EMP) to establish a vision and develop policies to become a leader in environmental stewardship This work included the Environmental Stewardship Strategy (ESS), an action plan to advance environmental goals and achieve the vision identified in the EMP.

The recent update provides a summary of changes and additions made between January and December 2022. The full report will be made available on the Reports, Studies and Plans page of the Town website.

2022 Ends with the Strategic & Corporate Plan Q4 2022 Report

The final Strategic & Corporate Plan quarterly report of 2022 has been presented to Council. Throughout the year, reports are compiled to track progress on key actions and the results of initiatives identified in the Corporate Plan and the Strategic Plan.
