Recycling Service Disruption: January 2, 2026
The contractor for the recycling services has notified us they were unable to complete the recycling collection in Westerra and Genesis on Wednesday, December 31, 2025. We have been in contact with them, they will wait until the snow removal on the collector roads is complete today and then return to finish collecting the recycling. It is expected they will return January 2 or January 3 to finish the collection.

Paving of 41 Avenue in front of Heritage Park will commence on June 10 or 11, 2019, weather permitting. Please watch for detour signs and slow down when approaching the construction area.
Crack sealing on Stony Plain roads is set to begin June 3 and will continue for approximately one week. There will be minimal disruption to traffic during the sealing process.
An open house for Stony Plain Central School Servicing Project will be held on Wednesday, July 10 from 4-7pm at the Stony Plain Community Centre (5008-51 ave). The project will involve extending the road from the west end of 57 avenue, and installing new underground infrastructure and a round-a-bout.
