Construction

The underground work for phase IV of the Downtown Redevelopment project continues. The electrical work for this phase is almost complete.

The Umbach Dog Park road construction project is now complete! The road and park re-opened to the public on July 24.

Following the August long weekend, the Town will be mircosurfacing various roadways throughout Town. Microsurfacing is a pavement preservation treatment which includes applying asphalt emulsion, aggregate, water and cement powder to the existing roadway surface.

The Golf Course Road construction project is in full swing! Today, crews started ripping up the road.

Landscaping work is now done along the Stony Plain Central School access road.

Downtown Redevelopment construction is proceeding. ATCO has completed their work and is no longer on site.

Construction work on the Umbach Dog Park road is going well with no delays. The road is on track to be completed by July 8.

Alberta Transportation has informed the Town that beginning at 7:00 a. m. on Wednesday June 23, Wells Construction will be milling and paving the final lift of asphalt on 48 Street between south of Willow Park Road North and 55 Avenue.
