Construction at the Umbach Storm Pond site is nearly complete. Activity and noise will significantly reduce over the next 2-3 weeks as the project enters a monitoring period.

Construction crews will be moving a rig at the Umbach Storm Pond on Friday, April 14th between 7:00 AM and 12:00 PM. This will limit access to the Off-Leash Park between this time.

Construction crews will be on location at the Umbach Storm Pond 24/7 from February to May 2023. Please be advised work will result in construction noise outside of regular operational hours.

Crews will be on location Thursday, January 26 and Monday, January 30 to load and transport equipment from the construction site. Traffic in the area will be impacted around 11 a. m.

Crews will be on location Friday, January 13 and Saturday, January 14 to transport equipment. On Saturday, traffic may be impacted between 7 a. m.

DECEMBER 15 UPDATE. : A full closure along 49th Avenue between the Sonora apartment complex and Burger King, and along Brown Street north of 50th Avenue beings today at 9:30 a. m.

Construction at the Umbach Storm Pond will be commencing next week and ramping up throughout December and into January. There will be an increased number of construction vehicles accessing the site with measures taken to limit construction traffic to early morning and late afternoon.
