The FibreConnect project is underway to continue the installation of high-speed fibre optic internet in Stony Plain. Starting next week, pre-fielding work will take place in the following areas:.

Please be advised that road work will be taking place on High Park Road, off Hwy 628 (79 Ave) starting tomorrow, February 9 into February 10 with traffic reduced to 1 lane. Speed reduction will be in place along Hwy 628 (79 Ave) while workers are present.

Beginning July 19, 57 Avenue from West of Heritage Crescent to Highway 779 will be under construction as 1. 1 km of Full Depth Reclamation (FDR), Asphalt Concrete Pavement overlay and line painting is completed. The project is due for completion by August 25.

Two sinkholes have emerged along the road to the Umbach Off-leash Dog Park, pictured above. The sinkholes are currently under repair.
