When selecting a standard burial, there is the option to choose either a single or double depth plot.

The Stony Plain Cemetery offers a range of burial, cremation, and memorial options to support different family needs, traditions, and preferences. Families are encouraged to review available options and consider future burial wishes with their loved ones.
Cemetery columbarium sales open June 1, 2026. Plot sales and interment services will begin in phases throughout 2026.

Interment Options
A cremation plot can accommodate up to two urns.
A columbarium is a structure designed to hold cremated remains, with individual niches that provide families a lasting and dignified place of remembrance. Columbaria niches can hold up to two urns.
Scattering Garden and Memorial
The scattering garden offers an alternative to families who do not wish to inter their loved ones. A group monument provides a medallion of commemoration for loved ones.
An area of the cemetery has been dedicated as a Field of Honour for veterans as well as the individual’s spouse.
An environmentally respectful and sustainable burial option. No embalming chemicals, metal caskets, or concrete vaults are permitted
