Work on the TELUS PureFibre installation project continues. TELUS will be continuing rehabilitation work in the Woodlands area beginning July 18.

June 23 UPDATE. Inclement weather has delayed construction at the Rotary Park entrance.

JUNE 27 UPDATE. : Please be advised Fairway Drive has been removed from the schedule.

JUNE 22, 2022 UPDATE. : Construction will begin Monday, June 27.

TELUS has informed the Town that work in the Woodlands area has been moved from the first week of June to the second week of July.

TELUS will be conducting fibre optic work at various manhole locations along 48 Street beginning Monday, June 13 for approximately two weeks. There will be temporary lane closures for the duration of the work.

Traffic set-up for lane widening on South Park Drive begins today and will continue until the end of June. The northbound lane to the intersection of 44 Avenue and South Park Drive will be affected.

The access road at the Rotary Park entrance is open and expected to remain so until the location is paved with asphalt.

Work on the Umbach storm pond is moving forward. Construction vehicles will be hauling materials to and from the site and traffic in the area is expected to increase with parking on the north end of the lot (with the exception of handicap parking) impacted.

TELUS has informed the Town general spring restoration work is now complete. Crews will be addressing any outstanding concerns with homeowners on an individual basis.
