The access road at the Rotary Park entrance is open and expected to remain so until the location is paved with asphalt.

Work on the Umbach storm pond is moving forward. Construction vehicles will be hauling materials to and from the site and traffic in the area is expected to increase with parking on the north end of the lot (with the exception of handicap parking) impacted.

TELUS has informed the Town general spring restoration work is now complete. Crews will be addressing any outstanding concerns with homeowners on an individual basis.

Construction on the Umbach Storm Pond has been delayed for approximately two weeks to monitor a garter snake hibernaculum.

TELUS has informed the Town that crews will be working along 79 Avenue between Westerra Drive and 48 Street.

Rotary Park Bridge construction has wrapped up and the bridge is open to the public. The Town thanks park users for their patience during the construction period.

TELUS has informed the Town that spring restoration work remains in a holding pattern as they wait for frozen ground to thaw and drain. TELUS will continue to monitor safety hazards and install temporary protections where needed.

The Town will begin rehabilitation work on Rotary Park bridge starting Monday, April 11. The project will involve concrete pile jacketing and upgrading erosion protection and the bridge will be closed for the duration of the construction project.

TELUS has informed the Town of Stony Plain crews will be in the Oatway Drive area next week for remediation work.
