An Urban Agriculture Plan is coming to Stony Plain. The Town has begun work on developing the plan and is inviting residents to get involved in the planning process.
The holiday season is quickly approaching, and Stony Plain Enforcement Services’ annual Toys for Tickets program is ready for another year of holiday cheer! The Town will accept toy donations for the Stony Plain Kinsmen Club’s Christmas Hampers as payment for Stony Plain Bylaw tickets.

Alberta Transportation has updated the Town on the Highway 779 construction project. Work is beginning on short retaining walls in front of a few properties on the east side of 48 Street and one location on the west side.
The art installation has been installed and base work for the community bulletin board will occur in the next few days. Please stay off the bench and seeded areas.
Downtown Redevelopment construction is beginning to wrap up for 2021. Bench and cladding work is progressing along with streetlight installation and sandblasting.

Get into the Halloween spirit with upcoming local festivities! This year, the Mini Monster Bash has been modified to include an extra spooky scavenger hunt, take-home activity kits, and a haunted house.
With the trail completed, the concrete slab for the public art piece has been poured and stamped allowing for its installation on Monday, October 18. Once final landscaping has been completed, the new Community Bulletin Board will also be installed to finish the project.
All streetlights have been installed and are scheduled to be connected. Crews are working on benches, bike racks and waste receptacles.
