An open house for Stony Plain Central School Servicing Project will be held on Wednesday, July 10 from 4-7pm at the Stony Plain Community Centre (5008-51 ave). The project will involve extending the road from the west end of 57 avenue, and installing new underground infrastructure and a round-a-bout.
Stony Plain, alongside local artist Daphne Cote, will be unveiling a new mural dedicated to the youth of the community in the CN Rail Tunnel on July 18 at 4:30 p. m. The new mural, entitled.

After a brief pause in construction due to weather, the Stony Plain Dog Agility Course in Umbach Off-Leash Dog Park is now officially open to the public. You and your furry friend can make your way over to the new course to start putting your skills to the test!.
The Farmers’ Days Rotary Parade route has been finalized. With the Downtown Redevelopment set to begin, the Town is happy to announce the construction project contractor and the Town Parade organizers were successful in working together to allow for the Parade to make its way down the heart of the Town, Main Street.
The third phase of Stony Plain’s mural partnership with the Meridian Foundation, and local artist James Mackay, will be unveiled June 7 at 11:00 a. m. The new two-sided mural, entitled.
Main Street from 53 Avenue to just south of the 51 Avenue intersection will be closed for construction from approximately June 3 to the end of the 2019 construction season. During this time there will also be modified pedestrian access to the area.
