Is there a municipal cemetery in Stony Plain?

Currently, the Town of Stony Plain does not have an operational municipal cemetery.

The Town has engaged in extensive research and planning for the development of a cemetery since 2010, and is actively working on developing a non-denominational municipal cemetery.

Construction for the municipal cemetery will begin in 2025, and the cemetery is expected to be operational in 2026.

Where will the cemetery be located?
The cemetery will be located on Rosenthal Road (Range Road 12), just north of the railway tracks.
How can I learn more and stay informed about the cemetery project?
