Canada Day

Stony Plain is celebrating Canada Day with a day of free family-friendly fun in the sun on July 1 from 11 AM to 3 PM at the Stony Plain and Parkland Pioneer Museum, Main Street, and Heritage Park grounds. Celebrating our sense of community and the birthday of our nation. 

 

June 30th

Canada Day Flag program: Community members will be placing flags in front of resident's homes. If you see them, send them a smile and wave - It's the Canadian thing to do, eh!  If you want to help out, please email events@stonyplain.com to sign up.

July 1

Pioneer Museum - step back in time and enjoy all there is to see and do! Family fun to be had the whole day!  Snacks and treats will be available at the Dawgs Concession. 

 

Heritage Park - Take your lawn chair and enjoy a line up of cultural and entertainment performances.  Be apart of the celebration on Canada's birthday in Stony Plain. Food trucks will be on site.

 

Blueberry Stage will be alive with excitement, starting at 11 am, and end at 3 pm.  Many community and cultural performances. Cultural sharing and community  booths will be onsite. 

 

Parkland Food Bank will be onsite with Carnival games! Super fun to be had while supporting such a great need in the community! Please consider cash donation or dry goods.

 

14th Annual Antique Car Show will be held on Main Street on July 01.  Just $20 to enter, and all proceeds go to the Stony Plain Youth group.  Contact 780 914 8868 for any questions.
