The Town of Stony Plain invites residents to celebrate Canada’s 155th birthday by taking in a variety of fun and free community activities.

This is one show you won’t want to miss. The traveling variety show brings back the old days of circus with talented and exciting performances of juggling, balancing, magic and more.

 Dragon Dance by Silent River Kung Fu

Dragon dance is a traditional dance form in Chinese culture. The dragon represents wisdom, power and wealth.

 Chris Gowen - Magician 
Chris' child and family shows are fun and exciting for the whole family! Chris started learning the art of magic in 2003 at the age of 13. He honed his skill as a Magician through intense study of the art, and in 2016 he became the Vice President of the Edmonton Magic Club.




 Friends Forever Puppets
The children's puppet performances are usually in the style of a variety show with lively contemporary songs and fast action skits and dialogue.

Canada Day Car Show & Shine

The annual Canada Day Car Show & Shine is enjoyed by the whole family. Stroll through the downtown core and gaze upon some of the most unique vehicles in the province.


Parking: Limited parking in the downtown core. A free shuttle between Heritage Park and Mainstreet is provided or you’re encouraged to ride your bicycles or walk.
