Winter Fest

Winter Fest is a month long of activities for the whole family to enjoy. Kick off the festive season with Light up on November 29, 2026.

Also December 29, join in the fun, Moose on the Loose! 

On December 01, join the fun as you can share your most secret or favorite recipes of the season, to help count us down to the last day of the year! 

On December 31, 2026 ring in the New Year at Family Fest.  

Winter Light Up

Join us on Sunday, November 29, from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM on Main Street for the lighting of our Town tree, take a photo with Santa and some special treats, all while listening to festive tunes from our live DJ. The holiday magic isn't over yet! 

Light Up time will be @ 5:30 PM!  

Moose on the Loose - follow the trail to your favorite business! First clue will be handed out at Light Up at 4:30 PM, for the great hunt to begin that afternoon. Solve the clue, go to the business its located and take a picture with our Town Moose. Email the picture in to events@stonyplain.com and enter for the grand prize. 2025 was so much fun for so many with this hunt. Community members learned of new business spaces, found some great deals, and made memories with each other. 

How it works:

*Every day starting November 30, 10  AM the clue will be posted here for 24 hours. A second clue will be posted by 1 PM if needed.

*You can participate every day. One email and picture per day, per person with the Moose.

*Multiple people can email a picture with the Moose found at the participating business, and be entered into the draw. 

*December 13, 2026 will be the last clue and last day to submit picture's. 

*December 15, 2026 the winner will be randomly picked from the entry's and announced at 10 AM on Winter Fest web page, (will also contact via email), with pick up of prize at the town office @ 4905 - 51 Ave, Stony Plain, during normal business hours.

Family Fest New Years Eve

Family Fest is how we in Stony Plain ring in the New Year! Join us for loads of music, dancing,  great food,  laughter and fireworks, with family, friends, visitor's and neighbors. 

December 31st, 2026
