Farmers' Days

The Town of Stony Plain, in partnership with the Kinsmen Club of Stony Plain, invites you to experience Farmers’ Days Rodeo and Exhibition, the community’s largest annual event, from June 5 to 7, 2026

From the Kinsmen Rodeo and West Parkland Gas Co-op Parade to the Mayor and Council Pancake Breakfast and Kids Korral, the weekend is jam-packed with activities for all ages. 

Explore event details, schedules and key information below to plan your Farmers’ Day weekend. Activities run Friday afternoon through Sunday evening, rain or shine.

Park & Ride

The Town of Stony Plain offers a free park-and-ride shuttle throughout the Farmers' Days weekend, operating from three locations at scheduled times.

Public parking is not available at Heritage Park or Stony Plain and Parkland Pioneer Museum during the event.

Park-and-ride service is not available to or from the Mayor and Council Pancake Breakfast. However, public parking is available on-site at Glenn Hall Centennial Arena for the breakfast from 7 to 9 AM.

Animals are not permitted on the bus, with the exception of service animals. Alcohol is also not permitted.

Shuttles run every 30 minutes, on the half hour

Shuttle Times:

  • Friday, June 5 | 5:30 PM to midnight
  • Saturday, June 6 | 11 AM to midnight (service may be delayed while the morning parade is in progress)
  • Sunday, June 7 | 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Mayor and Council Pancake Breakfast

A Farmers’ Day favourite, the Mayor and Council pancake breakfast returns to Glenn Hall Centennial Arena on Saturday, June 6 from 7 to 9 AM.

Public parking is available on-site, including accessible parking for those who require it. Arrive early to avoid delays. 

After breakfast, visitors are encouraged to explore the parade route and enjoy the festivities from various locations throughout Stony Plain.

  • 7 AM to 9 AM
  • $5 for Adults
  • $3 for Seniors (60+)
  • $3 for Teens (13-17)
  • $2 for Youth (6-12)
  • Children under 5 years FREE.
  • Cash or POS machine will be available.

West Parkland Gas Co-op Parade

Start your morning with the Mayor and Council Pancake Breakfast, then catch the excitement of the West Parkland Gas Co-op Parade on Saturday, June 6 at 10 AM as it winds through the streets of Stony Plain, including Main Street and downtown.

The parade is a vibrant, family-friendly event featuring colourful floats and live music.

With a 5 km parade route, there are plenty of viewing locations throughout the community to enjoy a great front-row experience.

  • Please be mindful of others and avoid blocking sightlines, particularly for seniors and families
  • Help create a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone by following directions from event staff and volunteers
  • No seating provided. Blankets or lawn chairs are welcome
  • Road closures will be in effect from approximately 9 AM to noon along the parade route, so plan ahead and allow extra travel time

Parade registration notes:

  • Please read the full application as there has been changes made since 2025
  • Submit your completed application. We do know you will need time for the insurance documentation to accompany the application. All applicants will be following the same process
  • Upon review of application (ensuring all documents are submitted) you will receive a meeting date to attend in person for staging package. Meeting will be held locally in Stony Plain at 6:30 PM, on May 26, 2026

Kinsmen Rodeo

Feel the energy of the Kinsmen Rodeo with classic events, skilled competitors and non-stop action in the arena. 

Join the Kinsmen Club of Stony Plain at the rodeo grounds for signature events such as calf roping, steer wrestling and bull riding.

Mutton busting takes place Saturday and Sunday during the rodeo intermission, where young riders hold on tight as they ride sheep in a fun, family-friendly event.

Enjoy the Heavy Horse Pull, free to watch Saturday at 5 PM.

Beer, coolers and water are available for purchase during the rodeo. Valid ID is required for the purchase of alcohol.

Kinsmen Saloon

Live entertainment takes the stage each evening at the Kinsmen Saloon.

The Saloon is a family-friendly zone until 5 PM on Saturday, June 6 and 4 PM on Sunday, June 7. After 5 PM, access is restricted to individuals 18 years and older.

A $5 cover charge applies after 7 PM on Friday and after 5 PM on Saturday.

Cash, debit and credit are accepted, and ATMs are available on-site.

Midway

Step right up for rides, games and classic midway treats, with nearly 50 attractions to explore!

The Midway runs throughout the weekend at Heritage Park:

Friday 3 PM–11 PM | Saturday 11 AM-11 PM | Sunday 12 PM -5 PM

  • Single tickets are $1 each
  • Each ride requires 5 to 10 tickets per person
  • All day wristbands are $50, non-transferable, valid only on the day of purchase and include unlimited rides
  • Pre-Sale Passes are available at Dollar Mart Stony Plain for $45, including GST

Kids Korral

Enjoy a variety of free, family-friendly activities at the Kids Korral, located on the grounds of the Stony Plain and Parkland Pioneer Museum.

Perfect for younger children who may not be ready for some midway rides and for families looking to add even more fun to their Farmers’ Days weekend.

Market

Explore more than 160 indoor and outdoor vendors at the Farmers' Days Market at Heritage Park. Formerly known as the General Store, the market offers a variety of unique finds, local goods and one-of-a-kind items.

Stony Plain & Parkland Pioneer Museum

Explore the past at the Museum!  Have lunch at the Tea House or get a hot dog at Dawgs Hunger Hut. Make sure to check out Legacy Street and get an up-close look at how a Blacksmith works Saturday and Sunday. 
There is something for the whole family to enjoy!
