Community use of schools is made possible through the Joint Use Agreement between Parkland School Division No. 70, Evergreen Catholic Separate Regional Division No. 2 and the Town of Stony Plain.
- School facility rentals (gymnasiums) may be booked by local non-profit community groups for one-time and ongoing sport, leisure and recreation related bookings.
- Seasonal Joint Use spans from September to June throughout the school year on weeknights and instructional days. Requests outside of these parameters can also be made by contacting the Booking Administrator from the Programs and Services unit for the Town of Stony Plain.
- Groups must apply annually for school space. Priority is given to local, non-profit community groups.
- Applications are accepted throughout the year, however seasonal booking requests for the upcoming school year should be submitted annually in May or June, as allocation takes place in July or August.
- Facility Requests are not confirmed until approved by the school division and an agreement has been signed and returned with a copy of liability insurance to the Programs and Services unit at the Town of Stony Plain.
Rental Fees
Stony Plain school facilities are booked for local, non-profit community groups through the Joint Use Agreement at no charge on weeknights. Weekend requests are subject to fees.
