Winter Fest

Winter Fest is a month long of activities for the whole family to enjoy. Kick off the festive season with Light up on November 30th, 2025.

On December 01, join the fun as you can share your most secret or favorite recipes of the season, to help count us down to the last day of the year! 

Also December 01, join in the fun, Moose on the Loose! 

On December 31, 2025 ring in the New Year at Family Fest.  

Winter Light Up

Join us on Sunday, November 30th from 6 PM to 8 PM on Main Street for the lighting of our Town tree, take a photo with Santa and some special treats, all while listening to festive tunes from our live DJ. The holiday magic isn't over yet! 

Light Up time will be....TBA

Moose on the Loose - follow the trail to your favorite business! First clue will be handed out at Light Up at 7:30 PM, for the great hunt to begin that night. Solve the clue, go to the business its located and take a picture with our Town Moose. Email the picture in to events@stonyplain.com 

*Every day starting December 1st, 10:00 AM the clue will be posted here for 24 hours. 

*You can participate every day. One email and picture per day, per person.

*Multiple people can email a picture with the Moose found at the participating business, and be entered into the draw. 

*December 24th, 2025 will be the last clue and last day to submit picture's. 

*December 27th, 2025 the winner will be randomly picked from the entry's  and announced at 10:00 AM on Winter Fest web page.

Family Fest New Years Eve

Family Fest is how we in Stony Plain ring in the New Year! Join us for loads of music, great food, and laughter and fireworks, with family, friends, visitor's and neighbors.
