UPDATE 08-09-2019:. Alberta Transportation has just notified the Town that they will not be closing Highway 779 (48 Street) to Willow Park Road (South entrance) this coming Monday, August 12.
CN signs have been placed on both Veterans Boulevard and Golf Course Road advising of rail crossing closures from 8pm on August 7 to 8am on August 8. Please use alternate routes during this time.
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR – BYLAW 2616/LUO/19. Stony Plain Central School Land Use Bylaw Amendment.
The Town of Stony Plain is now accepting nominations for two awards: the Ambassador of Action Business Award and the Award of Creative Excellence. Both awards will be presented at the Stony Plain and District Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet on November 1.
Timelines for the Downtown Redevelopment project have been impacted by the tremendous amount of rain this summer. At present, the project is approximately 20 days behind the originally projected schedule.
Update 08/09/2019: Sidewalk removal on the east side of Main Street from 52 Avenue to 51 Avenue will occur on Sunday, August 11, weather permitting. ---.
