The Town and the Stony Plain Fire Department are calling on residents to help improve public safety by clearing snow from fire hydrants in their neighbourhoods. When an emergency occurs, fire crews rely on having access to neighbourhood fire hydrants to respond as quickly as possible.

Town Council concluded their annual Strategic Planning Session on Tuesday. Council, along with the Senior Administration team, engaged a consultant to review and consider major aspects of the Town’s priorities and community development.

Stony Plain’s Mayor William Choy has been re-elected as Chair of the Board for the Edmonton Metropolitan Region Board (EMRB). Mayor Choy was acclaimed at the December 9, 2021 Regular Board Meeting from among representatives of the participating municipalities that make up the EMRB.

Council Presents Final Mural Maquettes to Meridian Housing Foundation. Council was joined by the Meridian Housing Foundation for a special presentation celebrating the completion of the Foundation mural series.

Meridian Housing Foundation Letter of Support. The Meridian Housing Foundation provided Council with a presentation in regard to a development in Spruce Grove that would provide independent, supportive and affordable housing for seniors.
