    Alberta Transportation has opened Highway 779 south of Willow Park Road. ---.

  • Shred It Returns to Stony Plain

    Shred-It is a free event open to all Stony Plain residents. The event will be held at Rotary Recycling Facility, Saturday 28, 2019 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

  • Regular Council Meeting Highlights for September 9, 2019 Meeting

    RCMP Musical Ride Committee Presentation. Representatives from the RCMP Musical Ride presented Council with a framed photo as a token of their appreciation for the Town's support in the event.

  • Parkland RCMP Detachment Opens Its Doors

    The new Parkland RCMP detachment is officially open for business. To mark the event, City of Spruce Grove Mayor Stuart Houston, Town of Stony Plain Mayor William Choy and Parkland County Mayor Rodney Shaigec were on site for the inaugural flag raising at the detachment.

  • New Crosswalk on Willow Park Road

    Trail Access Added to St John Paul II School. A crosswalk has been installed just east of the corner of Highway 779 and Willow Park Road (north entrance) to accommodate pedestrian access to St.

  • 57 Avenue Extension Update

    Road work is underway on the extention of 57 Avenue including preliminary grading and construction of the north storm water ditch. The future road will service the new Stony Plain Central school site.
