The Town of Stony Plain, City of Spruce Grove and the Parkland RCMP would like to invite residents to attend the grand opening ceremony on October 11, 2019 at 1:30 p. m. The new Parkland RCMP Detachment is located at 91 Campsite Road Spruce Grove.
Alberta Transportation has informed the Town that weather conditions have halted operations on Highway 779 for 2019 construction season. There will be some final work completed this week including sign installation, line painting between Willow Park Road South and 57 Ave, and pot hole repair before the site is cleaned up.
Stony Plain time capsule opening and rededication scheduled for October 15. In 1994, residents of Stony Plain uncovered a time capsule that had been buried back in 1955.
